The beginning stages of a religion are laid out in Cult Fiction. This is a mildly humorous article about the elements that add up to a successful religion, I think Mooranity manages to meet a few of these requirements.
I’m trying to get into this flash fiction lark (I can smell a 365 project), so here’s another bit of something I wrote for hack/flash:
It only took an instant, if that, for Paul to realise that he was in a waiting room. The usual collection of clichés were around him. There were ancient magazines, morose individuals, and some light musac streaming out to fill the room. What began to dawn on him, though, was the sheer enormity of the place.
